Old San Juan Wedding at Cuartel Ballajá

When Natalia and Christian informed me that I would be working in Old San Juan Wedding at one of my favorite Puerto Rico wedding venues the Cuartel Ballajá, I knew that it was going to be an extraordinary one. Cuartel Ballajá is an amazing historic building with a remarkable structure in the most touristic place in Puerto Rico, Old San Juan.

Having a Wedding in Magical Old San Juan

I have been visiting Old San Juan since I was a child; I never get tired of walking around its cobblestone streets full of culture, colors, art, and history. Believe me, when I say, weddings in Old San Juan are magical!

Architects Getting Married deserve the Right Architectural Venue

Natalia and Christian are Architects; they wanted a venue with a particular architecture, and as you see in the pictures, Cuartel Ballajá has unusual (but very peculiar in Old SJ) arches and geometric patterns. Cuartel Ballajá was the perfect setting for the couple.

Lovely Photo Session With an Amazing Tropical View

After the Ceremony, we went to the rooftop terrace with a fantastic view of the sea to do a beautiful photo session. Christian and Natalia are super fun and relaxed couple.  The interaction I had with them made my job more comfortable as they were terrific to work with and easygoing. They are my favorite type of bride and groom; the kind I love to work with at unique weddings.

Capturing the Love Natalia and Christian have in their Wedding Photos

They were smiling at each other every second at the wedding; these photos are only a mirror of their love. I want to thank this adorable couple for trusting in my work and vision!

Today was also the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Bishop of that wedding quoted these Martin Luther King words:

“We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way,”. I also want to dedicate those transcendental words to this publication and to this royal wedding!

Love, Diana.
