“The background of Casa Flamboyant Venue is the iconic El Yunque Rainforest”
AN ELOPEMENT FOR NATURE LOVERS AT CASA FLAMBOYANT VENUE IN PUERTO RICO
Puerto Rico is an island with many lovely places surrounded by nature. Trends in the wedding industry are continually changing. Places as Casa Flamboyant venue are part of the new wave of venues that opened the doors for those lovers who want to say yes in a dream scenery that looks like it was inspired by a painter. Each spot of this venue speaks by itself. First, the entrance area is covered with a cozy wood door and a wall cover with vines and exotic plants. The main house has exquisite decoration full of culture and art. Both I and the couple, Mehranz and Amir, fell in love with the breathless view in the pool area where you can appreciate one of El Yunque’s waterfalls, the lush mountains and the sea that surrounds Casa Flamboyant.
BRIDE GETTING READY NEAR EL YUNQUE WATERFALL AND FIRST LOOK
During the preparation time, Mehranz was in a spacious single bedroom Casa Flamboyant offers to the guests. Once the date is booked, I always send recommendations to the bride about all the details I usually photograph. Before the makeup artist started with Mehranz, she had his wedding rings, shoes, accessories and bouquet ready to capture. Once the bride was ready, I began to make some portraits inside the room and on the balcony. The room has a special private balcony with El Yunque’s view, we used it to highlight the bride’s gorgeous look with his precious bouquet made by the florist Natalia Liriano.
Once I got to the venue, I spoke with the groom to set the spot for the first look. This is one of the most exciting moments for me as a photographer at weddings or elopements! I love all those feelings that come up when the groom sees how beautiful the bride looks. As you see in the photos, the pool area was the perfect scenery for this moment!
AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY FULL OF UNIQUE MOMENTS
Due to the drizzles, we decided to celebrate the ceremony in the magical and greenish garden located in the venue’s entrance area. Amir, the groom, made an awesome setup and had the great idea to use Bluetooth headsets and a laptop to make a zoom transmission for their family during the ceremony. The officiant of the wedding was “Get Married Puerto Rico” by Aida Roca. Aida is an experienced, dynamic and fun officiant by far!
In the gallery below, you will see how fun and emotional this ceremony was! The ceremony lasted between 25mnts to 30mnts. After signing the papers and sealing their marriage, we walked to all the venue to capture their first photos as a newlywed. I always enjoy this moment alone with the couple to create beautiful compositions full of smiles, intimacy and emotions.
I wish Mehranz and Amir a wonderful life together; thanks for trusting in my work.; documenting your elopement in this magic place was an unforgettable experience!
